The Chicago Bulls finally found a maker for Tyrus Thomas, as they traded the former overall lottery pick on Thursday to the Charlotte Bobcats.
It’s a win-win situation for both teams, as the Bulls unloaded an inconsistent player who they hoped to build a young nucleus around Derrick Rose & Joakim Noah.
As for Charlotte, they get their athletic rebounding forward which the team has lacked ever since Emeka Okafor was dealt to New Orleans in the offseason.
Chicago will also receive Acie Law, Flip Murray & a future 1st round draft pick from Charlotte, while they’ll also get Joe Alexander & Hakim Warrick’s expiring contracts from Milwaukee instead of Kurt Thomas & Francisco Elson.
