My boy Magic is said to be in talks to buy the Johnson Publishing Co, which publishes Ebony and Jet magazines.
Magic Johnson, the Hall of Fame basketball player, is in talks to purchase Johnson Publishing Co, the publisher of Ebony and Jet magazines, Bloomberg reported on Friday.
Bloomberg cited Eric Holoman, president of Los Angeles-based Magic Johnson Enterprises, as saying “there have been discussions.” Holoman declined to comment further, Bloomberg said.
Holoman could not immediately be reached by Reuters for comment (Newsone)
The best thing about this business deal will be the fact they wouldn’t have to change any of the letterhead or business cards. The owner’s name would go from Johnson to Johnson. Ha!
