After the amazing scene that was witnessed last night at Cowboys Stadium, the NBA All-Star Game will never be the same again.

This came after a record crowd of 108,713 watched the East pull out a 139-137 thriller over the West on a pair of game-winning free throws by Dallas native Chris Bosh with 5 seconds remaining.

Dwyane Wade became the first player in Miami Heat franchise history to walk away with All-Star Game MVP honors after scoring a game-high 28 points to go with 11 assists, 6 rebounds & 5 steals.

It was indeed a special evening for Wade, as he was able to steal the spotlight in the same state that he won his 1st NBA championship just 4 years ago.

Several players from both teams were amazed at the incredible atmosphere before, during & after the game.

Cleveland’s LeBron James:

“To be in front of 108,000 fans, that was actually what it was, that was not a false number. You could look up in the stands, and there was not a seat open. To be part of history is something that you always wish and dream for.”

Even hometown star Dirk Nowitzki was surprised by the huge turnout, as he issued the following quote:

“It was unbelievable. Usually in All-Star games, not everybody is going out to shoot and warm up, but if you looked an hour before the game, I think both teams, all players were almost out there shooting, because it’s so different in a huge dome with the background. And I thought for actually the size of this arena, both teams were shooting pretty well.”

In his 1st ever All-Star appearence, Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose scored 8 points, had 4 assists & 3 steals in 15 minutes of action. Afterwards, he stated that his hip feels much better & should be back in the starting lineup for tomorrow night’s game against New York.
