Colts’ strong defensive performance highlights 20-3 win..

For the first time since late October, the Indianapolis Colts’ defense held their opponent out of the end zone during an impressive 20-3 win over the Baltimore Ravens.
It was a close game until the waning seconds before halftime, as a successful 4th & 5 conversion ended up in a 3-yard scoring strike from Peyton Manning to Reggie Wayne, which put the Colts up 17-3.
Baltimore had chances to come back in the 3rd quarter, but a Ray Rice fumble & a pair of nullified Ed Reed interceptions (1 lost fumble & 1 defensive plenty) wiped out their comeback hopes.
Peyton Manning had a sufficient outing in his 1st game since claiming his 4th MVP award, as he completed 30 of 44 passes for 246 yards while throwing for 2 touchdowns & 1 interception.
Indianapolis will host either the Chargers or Jets in next Sunday’s AFC Championship Game.
