The Chicago Bears had a delay in getting to Baltimore due to bad weather, but they apparently didn’t take their offense with them.
Outside of a 49-yard Earl Bennett punt return for a touchdown in the 2nd quarter, Chicago had little to no life offensively & have now gone without a touchdown in 14 of their last 16 quarters played away from Soldier Field.
Joe Flacco had a career day at the Bears’ expense, as the Baltimore quarterback completed 21 of 29 pass attempts for 234 yards & a career-high 4 touchdown passes.
Flacco’s 135.6 rating is also a career high.
The Bears will return home for a Monday Night showdown with the Minnesota Vikings, who clinched the NFC North following Green Bay’s loss to Pittsburgh on Sunday.
