Bears fall 21-14 to Packers….

Chicago fell just short of ruining Green Bay’s playoff hopes on Sunday afternoon, as the Packers held on for a 21-14 win at Soldier Field.
It didn’t take Green Bay long to get on the scoreboard, as Ryan Grant dashed for a 62-yard touchdown with 13:12 left in the 1st quarter.
Mason Crosby then added a pair of 26 & 33 yard field goals to make it 13-0, which is when the Bears started to make a mini comeback.
It all fell on the right arm of Jay Cutler, who threw touchdown passes to both Johnny Knox & Devin Aromashodu to give Chicago a brief 14-13 lead.
The Packers took the lead though for good in the 4th quarter, as Ryan Grant’s 2nd touchdown of the day & a 2-point conversion from Aaron Rodgers to Greg Jennings made it 21-14.
The Bears’ chance at a late rally fizzled on a incomplete pass from Cutler on 4th & 9 from his own 10 yard line.
Green Bay wins their 5th straight & is still hopeful for a Wild Card spot, while the Bears will now have to win out to avoid a losing season.
Chicago will travel to M&T Bank Stadium next Sunday for a meeting with the Baltimore Ravens.
