In a streak that dates back to October 27th of last year, the Indianapolis Colts made NFL history today with their 22nd win in a row, which breaks the 2006-07 New England Patriots’ mark of 21.
Jim Caldwell also joins the history books, as he’s the first rookie head coach ever to start 13-0.
Despite the loss today for the Denver Broncos, Brandon Marshall set an NFL single-game record with 21 receptions, which broke Terrell Owens’ old mark of 20 receptions on December 17th, 2000 against Chicago.
The Colts will try to improve to 14-0 on Thursday when they visit Jacksonville to face the Jaguars.
