Jets head coach Rex Ryan on quarterback Mark Sanchez’s injured right knee, which he suffered while making a headfirst dive:

“He’s got to understand that it’s in the organization’s best interests to slide, and that was disappointing. I love the kid, but he’s got to grow up and understand that he represents our entire organization.”

Star Player of the Game: Bears running back Matt Forte, who rushed 24 times for 91 yards & scored 1 touchdown.

Rams running back Steven Jackson on playing despite back spasms:

“There is no shortcut to it. I knew coming into this game, leaving last week, I was going to face an eight- and nine-man box and I knew it was going to be a rough one. So just try to gut it out.”

Ochocinco on the team clinching a winning record for just the 2nd time over the past 19 years:

“It puts us in a great position. We don’t have to depend on other people to win. We control our own destiny at this point. It’s a very, very, very good feeling for us as a team and a city. It’s pretty cool, man.”

Chargers running back LaDainian Tomlinson on surpassing Jim Brown as the NFL’s 8th all-time touchdown leader (150 career TD’s):

“Yeah, a perfect day. I’ve thought a long time about this day. If I was going to pass Jim, I wanted to do it here in Cleveland, and I wanted to talk to him in the locker room after the game.”

Cowboys tight end Jason Witten on losing despite his season-high 156 receiving yard effort:

“We’ve got to challenge ourselves and find a way to play. We have to get back to it and forget all this December stuff. I’m not trying to avoid it or say it’s not true. We’ve got to put it away. You let another one slip and you’re really in trouble.”
