Nets fire Lawrence Frank

Lawrence Frank didn’t even last long enough to see the Nets tie an NBA record.
New Jersey parted ways with their 39-year old head coach on Sunday, which happened just hours before the Nets lost their 17th consecutive game to tie the 1987-88 Miami Heat & 1999 Los Angeles Clippers.
Frank was able to guide New Jersey to the playoffs in each of his 4 years there, as he made 3 Conference Semifinal apperances.
His Nets then suffered two identical 34-48 seasons before the dreadful 0-17 start, which ultimately cost Frank his job.
Assistant Tom Barrise will make his interim head coaching debut on Wednesday, as New Jersey will try to avoid making history against ex-teammate Jason Kidd & the Dallas Mavericks.
