Hennessy presents Common and Friends

Nas, De La Soul, The Roots and Ludacris will accompany Chicago’s own Common in a benefit concert on September 26, 2009 at the Palladium in Hollywood, CA.
This is Common’s annual concert benefiting his organization, the Common Ground Foundation.
“My annual concert for the Common Ground Foundation is very inspiring and I’m very excited to be a part of it,” Common said in a statement. “Seeing the progress that we’ve made with the Foundation since last year, and with all the incredible artists we have performing, we can bring more attention and awareness to fulfilling our purpose and serving our communities.”
Not a bad line-up for a good cause. General admission is $100, with VIP balcony seats priced at $200.
Common and the ruff-neckest brotha in the world, but he still makes Chicago proud. Keep doin’ what you’re doin’ my-dude.
