Juelz Santana Accused of Threatening his Girlfriend

Juelz Santana is free on bail today after being accused of comin’ at his girl with a knife.

Teaneck police charged Santana, whose real name is LaRon James, with making terroristic threats and possessing a weapon. He’s free on $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Municipal Court on Sept. 9 (AP).

Santana actually says that his girl was the aggressor.

Capt. Dean Kazinci says Santana’s girlfriend told police a verbal dispute became physical Tuesday. Kazinci says the rapper told officers the woman was the aggressor and she had the knife. Police say the girlfriend, whose name was not released, had minor injuries that did not require medical treatment.

Juelz Santana had a top ten hit a few years ago called, “There it Go (The Whistle Song).” Meanwhile, he’s appeared with Jim Jones on hits with Webstar and Ron Brownz.
