The man who was once formely dubbed as “White Chocolate” is on the comeback trail.
The defending Eastern Conference champion Orlando Magic signed 33-year old Jason Williams to an undisclosed deal on Wednesday, as it will end a retirement that nearly lasted an entire calendar year.
Williams last appeared in the NBA during the 2007-08 season with the Miami Heat, where he averaged 8.8 points in 67 games.
He has always been a fan of the Sunshine State, as he spent his collegiate career with the University of Florida before being traded to the Miami Heat in August of 2005.
Jason was also the starting point guard on the Heat team that captured its’ first ever NBA Championship win during the 2005-06 season.
Williams will battle for playing time in Orlando alongside fellow point guards Jameer Nelson & Anthony Johnson.
