Greg Maddux to get jersey retired by Braves..

Tonight should be an emotional evening for 23-year major league veteran pitcher Greg Maddux, as he will get his #31 jersey retired & a spot in the Team Hall of Fame for an Atlanta Braves franchise in which he won 194 of his 355 games with.
Former Braves legends that are scheduled to appear tonight to help honor Maddux include David Justice, Ralph Garr, Dale Murphy & Phil Niekro.
Retired broadcasters Pete Van Wieren & Ernie Johnson Sr. will also appear during a special pre-game ceremony prior to Friday’s home game against the New York Mets.
Maddux will become just the 6th player in Braves’ franchise history to have his number retired by the team, as he will join Murphy, Niekro, Hank Aaron, Eddie Matthews & Warren Spahn.
