Rasheed Wallace agrees to sign w/Boston..

Rasheed Wallace has squashed the retirement talk, as he will now look to add another championship to his career.
The 14-year veteran forward has agreed to a 2-year deal worth from $5.6 to 5.8 million to sign with the Boston Celtics, which gives them extra insurance in the frontcourt alongside Kevin Garnett.
Wallace rejected offers from both San Antonio & Orlando, as he felt that Boston would give him the best chance to win his 2nd NBA Championship.
Rasheed is looking to rebound from a somewhat dismal 2008-09 season with Detroit, as he totaled career-lows in free throw attempts (101), offensive rebounds (56) & field goal percentage (41.9%).
Wallace brings plenty of postseason experience to the Celtics, as he has averages of 14.6 points & 6.7 rebounds in 153 career playoff games with Portland & Detroit.
He has also made 4 All-Star apparences, with the most recent one coming during the 2007-08 season.
Interestingly enough, Rasheed Wallace has made the playoffs in each of his last 13 seasons.
Boston will now turn their attention on trying to re-sign free-agent forward Glen “Big Baby” Davis, who is receiving offers from Memphis, San Antonio & Orlando.
