Hedo Turkoglu spurns Portland, to sign w/Toronto…

After originally agreeing to join the Portland Trail Blazers, it looks like 30-year old free agent forward Hedo Turkoglu has a change of heart.
Turkoglu agreed to a 5 year, $53 million deal with the Toronto Raptors on Friday, which ends his 5 year run with the Orlando Magic.
With Turkoglu’s arrival, Toronto is expected to renounce Shawn Marion, Anthony Parker & Carlos Delfino in order to create enough cap room.
Hedo’s best season to date was in 2007-08 with Orlando, when he averaged career-highs in points per game (19.5), assists (404), rebounds (471), free throw makes & attempts (324 & 391), made three-pointers (166), & field goal percentage (45.6%).
The Magic are also in talks with free-agent forward Rasheed Wallace & free-agent guard Nate Robinson.
