Denver’s Carmelo Anthony starred with 28 points, 8 rebounds & 6 assists as the Nuggets beat the Mavericks 108-105 in Chauncey Billups’ first home game.
Nene Hilario added 19 points & 7 rebounds, as Denver won despite shooting just 38.6% percent from the field.
Dirk Nowitzki led Dallas with 23 points & 10 rebounds, while Jason Kidd added 22 points, 10 rebounds & 9 assists in a losing effort.
December 15th, 2008@Dallas:
J.R. Smith scored 25 points & grabbed 5 rebounds off the bench, as the Denver Nuggets held the Dallas Mavericks to just 34.9% shooting during their 98-88 win.

J.R. Smith added 22 off the bench for the Nuggets, who shot 56.0% for the game.
Dirk Nowitzki led Dallas with 26 points & 11 rebounds, while Jose Barea added 22 off the bench for a Mavericks team that shot just 35.6% from the field.
Dallas’ Jason Kidd missed this game with a lower back injury.
