Just 1 year removed after losing Alge Crumpler, the Atlanta Falcons have found his replacement.
Future Hall-of-Fame tight end Tony Gonzalez is headed to the Falcons, while the Kansas City Chiefs will receive a 2010 2nd round draft pick.
Gonzalez can easily end up becoming the best tight end ever once his career playing days are over & has shown recently that he can still play at a very high level.
Over the past 2 seasons, Gonzalez has caught 90 receptions or more for the 1st time in his 11-year career.
The 10-time Pro Bowler has appeared in just 3 playoff games & has 2 career postseason touchdowns.
Gonzo’s move to Atlanta will now set up 2 head-to-head meetings next season with Tampa Bay’s Kellen Winslow, as the NFC South now sports two of the best tight ends in the NFL.
