Chris Paul led the way with 22 points & 10 assists to help New Orleans beat Denver 105-101. Rasual Butler added 19 points, as the Hornets connected on 12 of 23 (52.2%) of their 3-point field goal attempts.
J.R. Smith scored a game-high 32 points off the bench for Denver, while Carmelo Anthony added 24 points & 6 rebounds.
January 3rd, 2009@Denver:
Carmelo Anthony led a balanced scoring attack with 22 points, as 6 Denver players reached double-figures to help beat New Orleans 105-100.
J.R. Smith added 17, as the Nuggets’ bench held an 32-11 advantage.
Chris Paul led the Hornets with 30 points & 11 assists while David West scored 21 points & grabbed 8 rebounds.
January 28th, 2009@New Orleans:
With Chris Paul’s off night & David West unavailable due to injury, Peja Stojakovic picked up the load with a game-high 26 points to help New Orleans beat Denver 94-81.
Reserve Devin Brown also added a season-high 18 points off the bench.
Denver was led by Kenyon Martin’s 22 points & 6 rebounds, while J.R. Smith added 20 as a starter.
Carmelo Anthony was sidelined for this game with a broken bone in his shooting hand.

Carmelo Anthony scored a game-high 29 points to lead Denver to a 101-86 win over New Orleans. Chauncey Billups added 26 points, 6 assists & 6 rebounds.
Chris Paul led the way with 19 points & 13 assists, while David West added 18 points & 8 rebounds.
