Kobe Bryant scored a game-high 40 points, while Pau Gasol chipped in with 21 points, 11 rebounds & 6 assists to help the Lakers beat the Jazz 113-100. Mehmet Okur scored 21 points & grabbed 13 rebounds to lead Utah while Ronnie Brewer added 20 points.
Los Angeles used a 35-20 first quarter advantage & never looked back.
February 11th, 2009@Utah:
Deron Williams scored 31 points & dished out 11 assists to help the Jazz beat the Lakers 113-109. Mehmet Okur also added 22 points & grabbed 8 rebounds, as Utah shot 58.6% for the game.
Kobe Bryant scored 37 in a losing cause for the Lakers, while Lamar Odom added 19 points & 19 rebounds.
April 14th, 2009@Los Angeles:
Andrew Bynum led the way with 22 points, as the Lakers closed out their regular season with a 125-112 win over the Jazz. Pau Gasol also added 20 points, 9 rebounds & 6 assists as Los Angeles shot 55.8% from the field.
Deron Williams led Utah with 25 points & 13 assists, while Andrei Kirilenko added 20 off the bench.
Jazz head coach Jerry Sloan decided to rest starting center Mehmet Okur for this game, as Okur is nursing a hamstring injury.
