Apparently, Jerry Angelo wasn’t content with adding just Jay Cutler.

The Chicago Bears added veteran offensive tackle Orlando Pace today to a 3 year deal, which will reunite him with head coach Lovie Smith. (Smith was the Rams’ defensive coordinator from 2001-03.

Pace has blocked for past former MVP’s which include Marshall Faulk & Kurt Warner. In addition to this, Orlando has started in 154 of his career 158 games played.

Pace also shook off his recent injury-riddled past by appearing in 14 games last season, which is his highest total since playing in all 16 games during 2005.

The Bears can now focus on a top-tier wide receiver such as Torry Holt, but the Titans & Jaguars are both fighting to sign the 10-year veteran.
