Kanye West and Taraji Henson on The Cleveland Show

Family Guy spin-off The Cleveland Show is set to air this fall and will feature guest appearances by Kanye West and Taraji P. Henson.
The new cartoon will feature the Family Guy neighbor Cleveland Brown as the lead character. He leaves Quahog and ultimately ends up in Virginia with a new family, new neighbors, and new adventures.
Mike Henry (Executive Producer and voice of Cleveland): Cleveland has kind of had enough in Quahog—he kind of realizes that he wants his own friends, his own sidekicks, his own stories. So he sets out to California to make it in a way that we’ll have to keep a secret until the show starts, and then he ends up somewhere else, which we’ll also keep a secret until the show starts. But he basically goes home—he goes to his hometown of Virginia and rekindles an old high school flame.
Regular characters on the show will include an all star cast. Voices will be performed by Sanaa Lathon, Nia Long, and my boy Kevin Michael Richardson. Of course, Mike Henry and Seth MacFarlane will also do voices.
Taraji P. Henson is high on my list of woman I wanna bone, so she gets mad love automatically.
Kanye West recently recorded his part for a guest appearance. According to Henry, Kanyeezy dove into his first voice roll fully:
“It was surprising to us that [he] was so into it that he came to the table [read], and wonderfully surprising how cool he was, how funny he was and how unassuming he was,” says executive producer Mike Henry, who voices Cleveland Brown and other characters on the show. “He’s just a great presence.”
Wow. Another Black cartoon. Not to mention it’s from the silly-ass Family Guy crew. Cain’t wait to see it.
