Twista Signs with New Label
Written by DJ Special Blend from Chicago on March 10, 2009
Twista has signed with EMI, y’all.
After leaving Atlantic Records in 2007, Twista started his own record label Get Money Gang Entertainment.
Now, the distribution will be held down by EMI, and the release date for his next joint is set for late June.
Twista says in a statement, “We are very pleased to be in business with EMI and Capitol. I am excited about being independent again but having the resources of a major.
“The hustle never stops. Over the last couple of years, I’ve just been thinking about what the fans want from me. And that was motivation enough to bring out another classic album.”
