Darren Sharper to the Bears?

If the Chicago Bears ever needed a veteran free safety to replace the loss of Mike Brown, here is their opportunity to do so.
4-time Pro Bowler Darren Sharper is looking at both the Bears & the New Orleans Saints, but added Wednesday that he could sign with Chicago “without making a visit” to Halas Hall.
Sharper is very familiar with the Bears having spent his entire career with the Green Bay Packers & Minnesota Vikings.
As a matter of fact, the Bears would be happy to have him since Sharper has recorded 106 tackles (highest total against any other NFL team), 9 interceptions (2nd highest total) & appeared in 23 games (highest total) against Chicago in his career.
42 of Sharper’s 54 career interceptions (leads all active NFL safeties) have come against NFC opponents.
Now it’s time for Bears’ GM Jerry Angelo to make it happen.
