Kurt Warner to stay with Cardinals, agrees to 2 yr deal..

Maybe the curse of the Super Bowl-losing team missing the playoffs in the following season is over.
Free agent quarterback Kurt Warner agreed to a $23 million, 2 year deal to stay with the defending NFC Champion Arizona Cardinals on Wednesday.
The signing will most likely mean that backup quarterback Matt Leinart will have to wait 2 more seasons until he gets a shot at a starting job.
Warner will now attempt to throw 30 touchdown passes or more in back-to-back seasons, something that he’s never done in his 11 year career.
The other two seasons (1999 & 2001) that Warner threw for 30 touchdowns or more, he led his former St. Louis Rams team to two Super Bowl appearences.
Warner threw for 377 yards in a losing effort during Super Bowl XLIII & now holds the top three passing performances in Super Bowl history.
Before i sign off, here is an update on the developing story that was first reported on Sunday about the two missing NFL players on the Gulf Coast.
So far one man has been rescued after an extensive search by the Coast Guard. 24-year old Nick Schyuler was found Monday in “good condition” after surviving nearly 2 days in the Gulf Coast water.
Schyuler’s doctor said that it was a “miracle” that Nick was found alive & also added that he had about “5 to 10 more hours” left of survival had he been still left out at sea.
Marquis Cooper, Corey Smith & former South Florida football player William Bleakley remain missing since their boat turned overseas on Saturday.
