Man Found Shot in Alley On West Side

CHICAGO – Carnice Morgan, 21, was fatally shot on the 110 block of North Central Avenue and was dead on the scene, the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office said.
Police responded to a shots fired call and found Morgan dead in the alley at 1:18 p.m., police said.
Authorities said Morgan suffered a gunshot wound to the head. An autopsy is scheduled for later Thursday, the medical examiner’s office said.
A description of the gunman and a motive were not immediately available.
Grand Central Area detectives are investigating, but nobody is in custody as of early Thursday.
