New York Post Mocks Black President as a Dead Monkey
Written by DJ Special Blend from Chicago on February 19, 2009
The New York Post has published a cartoon that they claim is a parody between the celebrity chimpanzee that was recently gunned down by police, and the stimulus bill recently passed by Congress.
The editor and chief of the New York Post, Col Allan, has released a statement:
The cartoon is a clear parody of a current news event, to wit the shooting of a violent chimpanzee in Connecticut. It broadly mocks Washington’s efforts to revive the economy.
There are allegations that Allan actually delivered that statement with a straight face.
I agree that, there maybe a select few Americans that may look at this cartoon and immediately say, “Oh that’s cute how they are making fun of the chimp that just got shot by police in Connecticut as they compare him to congress. Lol!”
Yea, that may happen.
Maybe it’s just a coincidence that the president so happens to be Black, and he was the front face pushing the new stimulus bill.
Maybe it’s just a coincidence that racist have compared Blacks to monkeys since the beginning of time.
Maybe Black people are indeed just looking to have something to fuss about.
In response to that, I say to you people… “What the fuck?”
For those that are saying, “What celebrity chimpanzee?” Peep game:
Now that I have searched Youtube.com for the celebrity monkey that was gunned down by the police there’s only one thing left to say:
Very funny New York Post.
Someone made a mistake if they didn’t see how this could be taken otherwise.
Don’t they hire people to make sure things like this keep from being published in one of the most famous US news papers on the planet for cryin’ out loud?
Don’t they?
