Fantasia To Pursue High School Diploma

The Hood singer turned American Idol will return to school to get her high school diploma.  The 24 year old singer dropped outta the ninth grade about ten years ago.

After winning one of the most recognizable talent contest on this planet, Fantasia has gained world wide fame and is able to provide a better life for her family.

Now after getting potential financial problems straight, she is ready to get that good old diploma to set a good example according to E! Online.

“I had to sit back for awhile and had to get some things settled,” she said. “I had been with a lot of people not doing what they said they were going to do. I didn’t have time to sit back and cry. I didn’t have time to go to a mental health counselor. I had to keep my shit on straight—excuse my language!—and handle my business, because it’s not just about me. It’s about me and my whole family.”

I like the shit outta Fantasia.  She’s a perfect example of what the American Idol contest is all about.  Straight hoodrat that can sing, and now she’s on top of the world.  She’s a very common American in my book.
