1,000! Tennessee’s Pat Summitt reaches Historic Milestone…

Tennessee Lady Vols’ Pat Summitt became the first men or women’s head coach in Division I basketball history to reach 1,000 career wins with Thursday night”s 73-43 win over Georgia.
Afterwards, players showered Summitt with confetti, hugs and also the game ball.
Summitt’s Vols had a chance to do it on their first try, but lost 80-70 to #2 Oklahoma on Monday night.
Summitt is currently in her 35th season coaching the Vols & has 8 National Championships, 14 SEC Titles & 13 SEC Tournament Titles during her long tenure at Tennessee.
