Rays’ manager Joe Maddon is “big fan” of the Arizona Cardinals…

Tampa Bay Rays manager Joe Maddon endorsed his support for the Arizona Cardinals on Monday just a mere 3 months after he took his surprising Rays all the way to the World Series for the team’s first appearence in franchise history.
Even though Tampa Bay lost to Philadelphia in 5 games, Maddon says that Arizona’s current run is far more unexpected.
Maddon also said that the Cardinals “weren’t on anybody’s radar screen” to make it to the Super Bowl, where they are 6-point underdogs to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Maddon wasn’t originally planning to attend this year’s Super Bowl, but with Arizona in it he was able to get 2 tickets through the Rays’ organization (who have connections with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers-host of Super Bowl XLIII) & will be at Sunday’s big game.
