Dallas Cowboys’ star Terrell Owens to get own VH1 show in July…

Written by on January 26, 2009

As Owens likes to say: “Get your popcorn ready!”

However, this won’t be a “reality dating show” which has helped VH1 resurrect the careers of Flavor Flav & Bret Michaels in recent years’ past.

Owens’ yet-to-be-named show will focus on his offseason activities, while being surrounded by his best friends & publicists.

Owens just finished one of his most disappointing NFL seasons with the Dallas Cowboys in which he only averaged 65.8 yards per game (4th lowest total in Owens’ 13-year career) & failed to catch 80 receptions or more for the first time since 2005.

2005 was Owens’ last season with the Philadelphia Eagles, in which he only appeared in 7 games before being suspended for the rest of the season for “conduct detrimental to the team” by head coach Andy Reid.
