Lil’ Wayne Donates To Rebuild His Childhood Playground

Written by on January 20, 2009

Lil’ Wayne gave $200,000 to help rebuild his Louisiana childhood playground which was destroyed by hurricane Katrina.

This is nothing new for the eight time Grammy nominee, who has been helping to clean up his home town since the day the tragedy struck.

Dude is doing a good job setting an example for the shorties per WWLTV in Louisiana:

“You can’t really tell them (kids) what to do these days. When you tell them what to do, that’s when they get angry, when you tell them (to) be like me, because it’s hard to be like me. So, the best thing you can tell them is try to do right.”

Dwayne Cater III gave the dough to the officials in charge of Harrell Park.

Good shit Lil’ Wayne.
