Rosario Dawson: I Wanna Hit That
Written by DJ Special Blend from Chicago on January 19, 2009
Ain’t no story behind it. I’m just saying that I wanna hit that.
Oh yes, she’s in the news this week due to her role in Seven Pounds, hosting Saturday Night Live and the part she is gonna play in the inauguration this week.
She’s talented, gorgeous and probably really smart and a great person.
But my point is: I wanna hit that, and I wanted to take this chance to say it out loud. I wouldn’t take myself serious as a writer if I didn’t at least mention how busy she has been lately.
People.com reports that she will be kicking it with the kids for the inaugural event along with Queen Latifah and others:
The Kids’ Inaugural: We Are the Future concert isn’t only for the teeny-bopper set. Hollywood stars including Queen Latifah, Rosario Dawson, George Lopez, Jamie Foxx and Lucy Liu will rock out to the Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus at the pre-inauguration concert honoring military families, PEOPLE has learned.
That’s all gravy. Popwatch.com says her appearance as host of Saturday Night Live didn’t go well. However, they say it wasn’t her fault:
Last night’s Saturday Night Live was hosted by Seven Pounds star Rosario Dawson, and I’m pretty sure I only laughed about seven times. Not that it was Dawson’s fault, though. She was adorable in almost all of her skits, but I kept hoping for one in which we could really see if she could bring the funny. Instead, we got a bunch of dull acts about things like “making good excuses” and Aladdin and Jasmine’s 10th anniversary carpet ride.
When it’s all said and done, the fact is still the same. Weather you think she’s funny or not, I wanna hit that 😉

I still refer to her as Lala from “He Got Game” 🙂
