6 Year Old Student Left on School Bus

CHICAGO – Sting Wire reports that 6-year-old Kinjari Penson fell asleep on a school bus and was left alone for two and a half hours in the Gold Coast, on the coldest night in ten years.
The good thing is that the driver was on the bus and the bus was running.
Apparently the little dude fell asleep and didn’t hear when the rest of his class got off the bus for the after school program. He woke up when everybody got back on two and a half hours later.
Brrrrr…
His feet were cold, but he didn’t wanna get in trouble, so he kept it to himself. Thankfully, he said something to his mother when she picked him up.
“He said, ‘Mommy, my feet are really cold,’ ” said his mother, Shanda Lambert.
“His feet, they were pale and ice cold. He said they hurt,” said Lambert, a licensed practical nurse. She took her son to Rush University Medical Center, where a doctor pronounced him OK.
