Blagojevich Impeached by Illinois House Vote

Illinois House voted 114-1 today to impeach Gov. Blagojevich. This is the first govenor in the state’s 190-year history to face the ax like that.
“We wanted him. We elected him. We supported him. And he’s disgraced us,” said Rep. Monique Davis (D-Chicago) said per The Sting News Group.
Poor fella.
Doesn’t look like dude’s gonna make it.
His fat lies in the hands of the Illinois State Senate. That trial comes up in about a month, and if two thirds of those peeps vote against the Governor, his time is up.
That will mark the second disgrace at Illinois Govenor in a row.
I’m gonna run next election… for the money 🙂
