Lorenzo Jones, 33, of North Chicago, suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his chest and abdomen an the 1400 block of Glenn Drive.
He was shot by police per the Sting Wire group and pronounced dead on the scene Tuesday morning.
The matter is still under investigation.
