Eartha Kitt Rest in Peace
Written by DJ Special Blend from Chicago on December 26, 2008
She got her star on the Walk of Fame in 1960.
She won two Emmys in her lifetime, nominated for three.
She was nominated for a Tony Award.
She made her stage debut in Carib Song in 1945, and her film debut in Casbah 1948.
We were blessed with her last stage show Junfan Project in 2005, and her last film appearance was And Then Came Love in 2007.
From I Spy, to Batman, to Mission: Impossible... all the way to Living Single and The Nanny… we loved her every time she was on TV.
Miami Vice!
Uncle Tom’s Cabin!
Boomerang!
The Emperor’s New School!
…and ya don’t stop!
From a young dime-piece with the Cat Woman mask to the dignified lady with the very attractive legs… You will be missed Miss Kitt.
Let’s all say it one more time together out of respect… “Maaarrrrcccuuuuussss!!!”
Rest in peace Eartha Kitt. Thank you for everything. That you for the way you entertained us for years.
You will never be forgotten.
