Hollering At Phife Dawg

Finally got a chance to catch this year’s Hip-Hop Honors on VH-1. As much as I was looking forward to seeing the show, my heart was broken when A Tribe Called Quest took the stage. I was blown away to see that Phife Dawg was visibly ill.
Phife, born Malik Taylor, was born November 20, 1970 and took our generation by storm in the late 80’s as a vocalist with the legendary Hip-Hop group A Tribe Called Quest. Soon after, her was diagnosed as a diabetic in 1990.
Currently, Phife is in need of a kidney transplant.
I gotta take this chance to Holler At Phife Dawg because his presence and creativity was instrumental as I developed my love for Hip-Hop.
